DESCRIPTION: A ladies full length mink coat, split male skins with leather inserted between skins, dyed black; length 48”, sweep 60”.

  PREVIOUS CONDITION: Sixteen years old, slightly worn with worn areas in back of coat, hem lining worn and repaired.
  NEW DAMAGE: According to the insured, the coat is stiff and has changed color.  However, we observed no evidence of stiffness, and the coloration is good and consistent with the age of the coat.
  RECOMMENDED TREATMENT: Clean and drum coat.

2. DESCRIPTION: A mahogany female mink coat, shawl collar, silk lined top cuffs, saddle shoulder, straight sleeves; length 53”, sweep 87”.
  PREVIOUS CONDITION: Good.
  NEW DAMAGE: The bottom 4” of the coat at the center back hem was severely damaged due to repeated exposure to water and abrading against boot heels. The hem lining is worn and ripped. All of the damage is due to repeated wearing over a period of time and was not caused by a single incident.
  RECOMMENDED TREATMENT: None.
